Distributing Tefillin

Many of the soldiers who approach Judaism during their military service make a good decision to commit to putting on tefillin every morning. The Dedication of Torah Scrolls

When the metal gates of the military camp open and the convoy of Torah scrolls enter, the camp becomes a mystical dance of the Jewish soul. Joy bursts outward pulsing in colorful rays; all dance hand in hand along with emotion from the depts of the Jewish soul.

The Torah scroll unifies and strengthens the hearts of the many warriors with the force of faith. The Lubavitcher Rebbe often emphasized the need to write Torah scrolls for the benefit of IDF soldiers and said: “Every Jewish soldier and security agent is united with 304,805 other soldiers, as many as the number of letters in the Torah scroll. Military success is by the power of all combined.”
